SMS Terms and Consent

These terms explain how EaseRecord text reminders work, how consent is recorded, and how you can stop receiving messages.

Effective date: July 20, 2026

1. EaseRecord reminder text program

EaseRecord may send automated text messages that remind an enrolled customer about important dates saved in the customer’s account.

Messages may relate to bills, warranties, subscriptions, maintenance, documents, renewals, expirations, or other records created by the customer.

Consent to reminder texts does not provide consent for unrelated third-party advertising or promotional messages.

2. Eligibility

EaseRecord text reminders are available only with eligible plans and are limited to verified United States mobile numbers.

You must provide a mobile number that you own or are authorized to use. You must also be authorized to consent to receiving automated text messages at that number.

Saving a mobile number does not verify it. Text reminders will not begin until all required verification and consent steps are completed.

3. How you provide consent

You provide consent through a separate EaseRecord text-message consent control. The consent checkbox or control is not selected automatically. You must take an affirmative action to enroll.

By enrolling, you agree to receive recurring automated EaseRecord reminder text messages at the mobile number you provide.

Consent to text messages is not required to create an EaseRecord account, use eligible non-SMS features, or purchase a paid plan.

Your text-message consent applies only to EaseRecord and cannot be transferred to another company for its own marketing.

4. Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on the number of records you create, their important dates, your reminder selections, your plan, and monthly text limits.

Reminder Plus includes up to 50 eligible text reminders per month. Unlimited includes up to 100 eligible text reminders per month.

Unused monthly text allowances do not roll over. EaseRecord does not automatically charge SMS overage fees. Additional text reminders are not sent after the monthly allowance is reached.

5. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile service plan.

EaseRecord does not control or reimburse charges imposed by a mobile carrier, including text-message, data, roaming, or international service charges.

Contact your mobile carrier if you have questions about your wireless plan or applicable charges.

6. How to stop text messages

You may withdraw text-message consent at any time.

Reply STOP to an EaseRecord text message to unsubscribe. Other clear, reasonable requests to stop messages will also be honored as required by applicable law.

You may also disable text-reminder consent through your EaseRecord notification settings.

After an opt-out request, you may receive one final message confirming that text messages have stopped. No additional reminder texts will be sent unless you complete a valid re-enrollment.

7. Help and support

Reply HELP to an EaseRecord text message for program-help information.

You may also contact EaseRecord through the Contact and Support page. Do not send passwords, complete payment-card numbers, or sensitive record contents by text or email.

8. Re-enrolling after an opt-out

Disabling consent or replying STOP ends the current text-message enrollment.

To receive text reminders again, you must complete the available re-enrollment steps, provide fresh consent, and satisfy any phone-verification requirements.

Depending on the messaging provider and sending number, replying START or UNSTOP may also be required to remove a carrier-level message block.

9. Changing or reassigning your number

You must update your EaseRecord account promptly if your mobile number changes, is disconnected, or is no longer under your control.

You may not enroll a number belonging to another person without their authorization.

A newly entered or changed number must complete the required consent and verification process before reminder texts can be sent.

10. Delivery is not guaranteed

Text-message delivery is not guaranteed. A reminder may be delayed, blocked, filtered, rejected, or undelivered because of carrier rules, network conditions, unsupported devices, disconnected numbers, provider outages, plan limits, technical problems, or circumstances outside EaseRecord’s control.

Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered EaseRecord messages.

You remain responsible for tracking important dates and obligations even if a text reminder is not received.

11. Not an emergency service

Do not rely on EaseRecord text messages for emergencies, immediate financial deadlines, legal notices, medical needs, safety issues, or urgent access to information. Contact the appropriate organization or emergency service directly.

12. Mobile information and privacy

EaseRecord uses mobile information to verify eligibility, record consent, operate reminder features, process opt-out requests, prevent misuse, and provide support.

EaseRecord does not sell mobile numbers or text-message consent. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties for their own unrelated marketing.

Mobile information may be processed by communications, hosting, security, and technical service providers as needed to operate the EaseRecord text-message program.

13. Changes to the text-message program

EaseRecord may change, suspend, or discontinue text-message features because of service updates, carrier requirements, provider changes, security concerns, legal requirements, or operational needs.

These SMS Terms may also be updated. The effective date will be revised when changes are published. Material changes may be communicated through the service, by email, or by text when appropriate.
